The 3 days toy
distribution for TOYS FOR LAGOS started on Thursday 19th of
December and ended on 21st December. TOY FOR LAGOS was
able to give out over 500 toys, 400 packs of rice, 40 cartons of indomie, 24
boxes of peak school smart and over 50 pairs of slippers in support of the
Slum2School project and Maryanne School Lagos Island.
Day 1 toy distribution was at Epe Island. Toys For Lagos
staffs and slum2school volunteers took 45mins boat ride to Emina and Saga
community to give out the toys. Over 100 children were given gift packs.
Day 2 was at Bariga and Ajegunle, over 200 kids were
given gift packs, rice, peak and packs of indomie noodles.
The toy distribution
of the children in Maryanne School was at Tinubu Square where a party was
organized for them.
Day 3 the big day was at Makoko. A party was held for the
kids and over 700 children were given gift boxes, packs of rice, peak milk and
indomie.
The day was filled with laughter, merriment and happy
faces.
3FOURTEEN will like to say a big thank you to all that
donated and volunteered to the project. May God almighty bless us all
as we have touched lives this Christmas.
