Tribbett wins Best Gospel/Inspirational Performance at the 2014 Soul
Train Music Awards for his hit single “If He Did It Before…Same God” from
his #1 album, GREATER THAN. This is Tribbett’s first
Soul Train Award win.
The Soul Train Music Awards was taped in Las Vegas on
November 8 and aired on the Centric and BET Networks on December 1, 2013 at
9:00 p.m. ET. The show will re-air today, December 3, 2013 on Centric and BET
at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT
Tribbett states, “It’s
always an honor to be recognized for the hard work you do. The feeling is so
rewarding and even more rewarding is the reason why I’m doing this in the first
place. It’s my extreme honor to represent Christ in music. I’m grateful and
honored Soul Train. Thank you”!

“If He Did It Before…Same God” is
the first single from Tribbett’s GREATER THAN album. GREATER
THAN debuted at #9 on Billboard’s Top 200 and #1 on Billboard’s Top
Gospel Albums chart and remained at #1 for four consecutive weeks.
GREATER THAN is Tribbett’s inaugural
project with Motown Gospel and is his highest album debut in his recording
career.
