At the just concluded MEGA AWARDS Midnight Crew cliched two awards. According to the statement from the group.
“Once again you have shown us so much love. How can we say thank you? We didn’t even ask for your votes, yet you thought we deserved it. Last night at the Mega Awards, our celebrations became double as we received 2 awards: Group/Duo of the Year 2013
and Best Juju song 2013 for our track Mo Dibo Fun Jesu.
We consider it our 12th year birthday gifts and we couldn’t have received it if not for your votes. We give God all the glory for the awards but again, to all our friends, families, loved ones and especially our fans, we say a big THANK YOU!!!! “
Also it happened that the group is celebrating their 12th years together, unlike the speculation of some haters that they have broken up, they are still together.
According to a press release on their official website

Midnight Crew is a faith based singing and music making group positioned for putting the praise of GOD on the lips of all men. Founded on the 8th of November, 2001, the group has four albums to its credit; FUSION, TUNGBA UNLIMITED, IGWE and KING OF NATIONS.
Midnight Crew’s music can be described as eclectic, robust and full of character, taking something from every genre of music available to its four proprietors. The proprietors of the group, PATRICIA UWAJE KING, GBENGA OYEBOLA, ODUNAYO OJO and MIKE ABDUL have served in a number of choirs, amassing a wealth of experience for the task ahead.

Midnight Crew has enjoyed several enviable platforms alongside a number of gospel music greats around the world; Lionel Peterson, Mary-Mary, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Panam Percy Paul, Kurt Carr, Ron Kenoly, Bob Fitts, Ebenezer Obey, Israel Houghton, Tye Tribbett, Sammie Okposo, Fred Hammond and Don Moen.

A rare gospel music brand, Midnight Crew is socially responsible, lending a helping hand to better their society. The helpless children of Koma Hills are foremost in the heart of Midnight Crew, helping to tell the world that these children still need clothes, medical care and formal education.

Midnight Crew will be ministering at The Experience Lagos on Friday December 6 at Tafawa Balewa Square. Be there!
Midnight Crew at 12: The Next Level
We greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. First and foremost we will like to thank all our families, loved ones, friends and fans for being there for us all these years. Your prayers, words of encouragement, well wishes, and support in different dimensions have helped us grow to who and what we are today. God brought you into our lives for many reasons and what He has used you to do in our lives has formed some of the reasons why we are still standing today. Sometimes, just cheering us in the background gave us strength to keep moving when the going got really tough and when it seemed the smart way to go is give up and move on. We do not take any of these lightly and we give God all the glory for bringing you all into our lives. Once again, we say we are grateful.

As we approach our 12th year as an entity that has enjoyed a lot of ground breaking experiences by the grace of our faithful and true God, we sense a shift, we sense the completion of a phase and the beginning of a new phase, we sense a breaking out, we sense a release, a regrouping to expand the kingdom of God through music……and it is no coincidence that 12 is a number of completion, governmental perfection, organization, divine government or rule. ..We may not have fully grasped the dimensions God wants to take us through in this new phase but we choose to trust Him who has the total picture and who is able to complete what He has started and take us to a glorious end. Having been there for us all these years, we feel we owe it to you to explain the new dimension we sense God is taking us to and through in this season of our lives and ministries.
We wish the Midnight Crew all the best.
