Pastor Desmond Pringle teams up again with the Cancer
Treatment Centers of America to share A Night of Hope on Friday, October
18th. The event will be held at the West Angeles Church of God In Christ
where Bishop Charles E Blake, Sr. is the pastor.
Our Journey of Hope program at CTCA, and the Rev. Percy
McCray, director of pastoral care at CTCA Midwestern Regional Medical Center in
Zion, Ill., are hosting the concert during Breast Cancer Awareness month to
bring the message to the community about how the program provides much
needed support to thousands of cancer patients and their families.
Pastor Pringle had this to say regarding his CTCA
partnership. “I am very excited about partnering with Our Journey of
Hope,” “It is a very powerful tool to get information into the
African American community, which is adversely affected by cancer. As a minster
of gospel and a pastor, it is incumbent on me to use the talent and information
that I have to help. If there is hope for one’s health, that needs to be
heralded. I’m thrilled to be in partnership to share the enlightenment that
your diagnosis does not have to be a death sentence.”
